10:00 port talk on Moorea. There are no major towns or cities. It's known for breathtaking scenery and water activities.
I finally walked the covered promenade deck--5 times at 5 minutes per rotation.
I relish walking sea side, with the wind in my hair, pacing myself alongside other walkers, watching the loungers reading and talking.
There is nothing like this experience having the wind in your hair and the sea on both sides!!
1:00-3:00 While having lunch, I Watched pool games on the lido deck. I danced the makerena with them. They formed two teams and played pass down the row the open, gushing, ( wet willie) water balloon and fill the glass on top of the head of the seated team member at the end of the row! Other activities involved passing an orange from neck to neck and racing with a cluster of 2-ft long foam bars etc.
2:00- lecture Puppet Special Effects in Film--by the puppeteer, Phillip Huber who worked on the latest Oz movie, being John Malkevitch, and Legend of Tillomooth's Gold--He discussed famous puppets throughout history including King Kong, Yoda, ET, Little Shop of Horrors plant (60 puppeteers operated), TvRex in Jurassic Park, and Alien monster.
3:00--I didn't make it to Rhumba dance class because I needed a nap and to change for formal night by 5:00 trivia and 5:30 dinner.
Changed for formal night #3.
A new person joined our dinner table tonight so if she returns, we will have a full table.
The evening show with HAL singers and dancers (Encore) was a huge disappointment. It was very flat, with mediocre songs, and not enough dancing.
I ended the evening with my usual ballroom dancing. Everyone looked lovely dressed for gala night. I even took a photo with the gentlemen dancers.
