Bergen, Norway

What made me smile September 15 and 16:

September 15-sea day
I slept well because I left the balcony open and allowed the soothing sounds of the sea and the ship gently rock me to sleep. I awoke to the most spectacular sunrise at sea. I lasted the entire 30 minutes of Zumba class. The pineapple is fresh and sweet. The croissants are delicious. I line danced by the pool (why didn't I bring sunscreen?). My trivia team won. For lunch, I was good and had poached salmon and steamed green veggies. I took a much-needed afternoon nap. I met new buddies at the Cruise Critic gathering and made new friends at the solo traveler gathering (25+) Many of us went to dinner together.

September 16-Bergen, Norway
Perfect, sunny weather in city that rains often. Went on fjord cruise with spectacular scenery! Walked along Bryggen (unesco world heritage site). Went with solo travelers : John from MN and Anne and Paul, both from Toronto.
