Exploring the Buda Side of Budapest
Staying on the Pest side of Budapest, I hopped on the subway to cross over to Buda for my walking tour. Running a bit late, I was glad to find that it was only two metro stops away! True to their word, our guide was waiting with a blue umbrella, making it easy to spot them in the crowd.
This was my third walking tour in Budapest—the first explored the Pest side, the second took me through the Jewish Quarter, and today, I was ready to dive into the historic charm of Buda.
Buda’s hilly landscape meant plenty of steps and climbs, but every effort was rewarded with breathtaking views and remarkable sites. Our guide, a native Hungarian, brought the area to life with her heartfelt storytelling and impressive knowledge of the city’s history and culture.
I’m excited to share the photos from this beautiful side of Budapest!
