$199 per person for 1A balcony--unheard of!!! |
One of the many benefits of living in Miami is that you can take advantage of last minute cruise deals. The fact that we don't have to concern ourselves with luggage weight limits, TSA, missed airline connections, teeny airline seats, jet lag, pre-cruise hotel stays, or worse: missing the ship, are all perks of living in a port city.
We booked this 3-day, Super Bowl weekend sailing, 3 days prior to departure. We secured a 1A category balcony for $199 pp. Typically, cruisers pay $299-$529 for this room. Our fare is even lower than the average inside room fare. What's more: we got $25 in on board credits.
Yes, the itinerary isn't all that interesting but, we'll enjoy a nice balcony room, 3+ decent daily meals, nightly entertainment, a beach party on the cruise line's private island in the Bahamas, a day in Nassau, an on-board Super Bowl party, 3 sunrises and sunsets at sea, 3 sail-away parties while a lively steel drum band plays, line dancing at sea, room service, and more--all for $66 p.p. per day!
Bahamas here we come!!! (BTW, photos were posted post cruise, obviously!!)
