Danube River Cruise Adventure
Our first stop is the charming capital of Slovakia, Bratislava, followed by an exploration of Austria’s cultural gems—Vienna, the imperial city; Melk, with its stunning abbey; and the picturesque town of Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart. The journey then leads us into Germany, where we’ll discover the medieval beauty of Regensburg and the charming riverside town of Passau. Finally, we’ll make our way to the Czech Republic, with stops in Pilsen, known for its famous beer and great synagogue, and the magical city of Prague, where we’ll spend three unforgettable nights post-cruise.
What makes this trip even more thrilling is that a European river cruise has always been at the top of my bucket list, and visiting Budapest and Prague has been a dream of mine for years. With tours, internet access, and all beverages included, I’m all set for an incredible experience. The weather might be a mix of chilly rain and sunshine, but that only adds to the adventure! Packing will be a breeze—I’ll be wearing my trusty black hooded jacket every day.
I’ll have the pleasure of spending three days solo in Budapest before boarding the ship, arriving just in time to experience Hungary’s grand national holiday. The city will be buzzing with festivities, making my arrival even more special.
And the best part? With all the discounts I’ve managed to snag, I’m saving over $3,000 on this trip. It’s an opportunity I couldn’t pass up! The Monarch Queen, our river cruise ship, holds only 174 passengers, ensuring an intimate and friendly atmosphere. I’m looking forward to meeting fellow travelers and making new friends along the way.
This is going to be an adventure filled with history, culture, and unforgettable memories.
PS. This trip will mark my visits to countries # 101: Hungary, # 102: Bratislava, and #103: the Czech Republic (or Czechia).
