Whether it’s airfare, hotel rooms, transfers, or tours, periodic checks can reveal potential savings. During a recent cruise, I decided to take a peek at the current prices for my frequent flyer award flight home. To my surprise, I found that the same flight was now available for 27,000 points instead of the original 35,000 points. Without hesitation, I promptly canceled my initial booking and secured the cheaper option. As a result, I now have an extra 8,000 points to put towards a future flight.
