Yes, there is a museum of toilets!

Did you know there’s a toilet museum?

There is rarely a museum I’ve heard about that I have not had a desire to visit.

Here is the latest I have read about that I will add to my bucket list.

Did you know that New Delhi is home to a fascinating museum dedicated entirely to toilets? Welcome to the Sulabh International Museum of Toilets, an extraordinary collection that showcases the remarkable evolution of sanitation practices throughout history. Delve into the exhibits and embark on a journey spanning from 2500 BC to the modern era, as you discover the intriguing world of toilets.

Immerse yourself in the ancient plumbing systems of civilizations long gone, marvel at the ornate and intricately designed toilets of 18th and 19th-century Europe, and prepare to be amused as you encounter unique installations like the lion-shaped toilet from Austria. The Sulabh International Museum of Toilets offers a unique perspective on the significance of sanitation and its impact on society, providing a thought-provoking experience that will leave you both informed and entertained. Step into this one-of-a-kind museum and gain a newfound appreciation for the humble yet essential invention that has shaped our lives in countless ways.
